The Majestic Entrance Gate, the Double Gate Complex, the Clock Tower showing the timezone of 4 countries, the complexes of Heydar A. and Ilham A. springs, the entrance to Heydar Aliyev Avenue built in the European style, the monuments dedicated to oKoroglu, Babek, Shah Ismayil Khatai give the city of Khachmaz a special beauty.
The construction of the Khachmaz station on the Baku-Mahachgala railway, which was completed at the beginning of the 20th century, turned the city into an important transportation point.
There are a number of historical and cultural monuments in the city. Ancient settlements and barrows, human settlements, mosques, and a mosque-madrasah have been preserved here. The railway station and water tower built at the beginning of the 20th century, the Shollar reservoir, and the water pipeline built by H.Z. Taghiyev are also places of interest.
In 2014, Bayrag Square was established in Khachmaz, Baku Avenue. An 85-meter-high flagpole was raised there. The flag is 30 meters long and 15 meters wide. The Flag Museum operates in that area.
