Shamakhi is an ancient Azerbaijani city (the ancient capital of Azerbaijan). Arose in the V century. BC e. The capital of the Shirvan kingdom, the residence of the Shirvanshahs - one of the most beautiful cities in the East In the IX — XVI centuries. The center of the Shemakhan Khanate (remember the Shemakhan Queen of Pushkin) from the middle of the XVIII century. The main attraction of the city is the Gulistan fortress (XI-XII centuries) - the last refuge of the Shirvanshahs, built to defend the borders of the city. No less interesting is the Eddie-Gyumbez mausoleum (“Seven Domes”) with numerous burials of the rulers of Shemakha, the Juma Cathedral Mosque (X century, rebuilt in the XIX century), numerous ruins of buildings of the X-XVII centuries. Today, Shamakhi is also recognized as the center of winemaking and carpet weaving. And also, the city of literature, which is the birthplace of many Azerbaijani poets. By the way, not far from Shamakhi there is an amazing place Pirgulu, famous for its snows.

Lahij - The alpine village of Lahij located in the Ismayilli region of Azerbaijan is an original monument of urban planning and architectural art of antiquity. This medieval town with cobbled streets and squares is one of the most famous craft and trade centers in the Caucasus and beyond. It produces copper, leather, coinage on which skillful potters and woodcarvers work. Lagich was especially famous for making edged weapons and copper utensils decorated with engraved ornaments. And up to now, there are dozens of workshops here, where hereditary blacksmiths make various household items in front of amazed tourists. The very first quarter of Lahic was laid in the III-IV centuries. It is curious that the city has a water supply and sewage system, which has been nearly more than one and a half thousand years old! None of the residents know where the sewage system begins and where it ends, and by what principle it works, which does not prevent the collector from functioning for many centuries. Nowadays, Lahıc is a historical and architectural monument, protected by the state and the appearance of the settlement is preserved in its original form.

İvanovka-“Ordinary village” is not about Ivanovka. Just think, where could a village with that name be on the lands of Azerbaijan, among the Caucasus Mountains? Why did so many persecutions and relocations befall its inhabitants? What helped them not only to survive but also to create a unique culture, which has no analogs anywhere else? Who now lives in Ivanovka (Ismayilli) and why do tourists love this place so much?             170-year-old Myths and legends are enough to tell the story of the village.
