From Baku to the Mountains – Experience the Best of Azerbaijan Itinerary

The representative of our company receives the visitor at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and bring to the hotel to receive his hotel room (transfer only). In the evening, the visitor enjoys walking to Baku Corniche and its charming nights. Return to the hotel and spend free time (optionally). 

DAY3 Escape to Gabala – Azerbaijan’s Paradise of Mountains & Nature

After breakfast at Hotel you will visit to witness a breath-taking view by Cable car on the green mountains. Also here you can enjoy an interesting ride on quad bikes (Quad Tour). If you are a fan of experiences and adventures, you will not miss this adventure and exciting experience with friends or family, which you will definitely want to repeat, which is riding the Gabala cable car, enjoying a charming view from the top of the city and its towering mountains covered in green in summer and white in winter. Then you will go to Lake Nohur, located at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, which is surrounded by forested slopes that have become an amazing variety in four seasons. Boats are available for hire and fishing is possible. Trip will continue with “Yeddi Gozel” waterfall which flows from the highest peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. At the highest point of the waterfall there is a teahouse with a special wooden floor where you can drink tea against the soothing backdrop of the pleasant sounds and scenery of the waterfall. And will finish tour with Gabaland Entertainment Park where you can find full of magnificent amusement rides for children and adults as well as different and interesting events.

 

DAY2 Baku City Tour & Shopping Time

After having breakfast at the hotel, driver will take you to Highland Park, from here you will see amazing view of Baku city. After that we will go to visit the Old City, Maiden Tower which has been classified on UNESCO'S World Cultural Heritage list. The Flame Towers, which have become a symbol of modern Baku, is also tower museum that tells the story of the development of Baku city, and the last floor by a scene a wonderful panoramic for the city overlooking the Caspian Sea and the towers of the torch. After that, we will head to the Shirvanshah Palace, which dates back to the fifteenth century. Then after lunch, we will moving to Carpet Museum which is home to the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world.  Tour will continue with Little Venice Park which is near the Carpet Museum you will feel yourself in small Italy. Park Evening by walking on seaside Baku you will enjoy spectacular view of Baku nights. One of most popular shopping areas among both locals and tourists is Green Market (Yasil Bazaar), which is filled with seductive aromas and a huge assortment of brightly colored clothing, spices and souvenirs. Far more than just shopping, Yasil Bazaar is an experience in itself, a chance to learn about the long- held traditions and lifestyle of local Azerbaijanis. DAY4 Step Back in Time – Discover the Cultural Treasure of Sheki

Today, journey to the enchanting city of Sheki, one of Azerbaijan’s most historic and culturally rich destinations. Explore the charming streets of the old city, admire traditional architecture, and discover the fascinating heritage of this former Silk Road center.

DAY7 Tangaltı & Afurja Waterfall Adventure – Discover the Hidden Beauty of Quba

We have breakfast at the hotel and then go to one of the natural places in Guba. Tanga, which has a stunning natural beauty in Guba, is a wonderful destination for a road trip. The road through is incredibly beautiful, especially in the autumn when the slopes of the mountains are painted, we continue our way and reach the highest waterfall of Azerbaijan hidden among the mountains. You can reach here by walking or by off road car. Each season, a visit offers a new experience. In the autumn, the surrounding forest becomes colorful, and in the winter, the waterfall can freeze. At the end of the day, after tasting delicious local dishes, we return to the hotel.

DAY8 The Land of Fire – Discover Absheron’s Ancient Mysteries

After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed in 2012 by Zaha Hadid, an Iraqi engineer who won the London Design Competition, one of the most important cultural centers. Then we will go to the Absheron Peninsula, about 20 km from Baku, to witness the immortal Azerbaijani legend (Mountain of fire), which in the past was considered a sacred mountain because the fire was not extinguished, and the mountain is considered a religious shrine for some Zoroastrians from Iran, India and others. Afterthat we will head to Ateshgah (Fire Temple) which was built in the 17th and 18th centuries by Indian merchants on the site of a natural gas leak. Ateshgah Temple is rooted in the worship of fire, one of the ancient religions of the Azerbaijani people.

 

DAY9 FREE DAY IN BAKU

After breakfast, enjoy a free day in Baku with no scheduled tour services. Guests are free to spend the day exactly as they wish — relax at the hotel, explore the city independently, enjoy local cafés and restaurants, go shopping, or discover more of Baku’s attractions at their own pace.

For guests who would like to explore places outside the hotel area or visit specific attractions, additional private transportation can be arranged upon request at an extra charge.

DAY10 Until We Meet Again – Farewell, Azerbaijan

After breakfast and check-out, guests will be transferred by private sedan from the hotel to Baku International Airport (GYD) for their departure flight.

As this unforgettable journey through Azerbaijan comes to an end, we say goodbye with wonderful memories of Baku, Gabala, Sheki, Quba and Shahdag.
