 It is also possible to see mud volcanoes in the territory of the region. Despite the semi-desert landscape of the region, the presence of forests in the Gandov area has led to the creation of beautiful natural landscapes. Also, the existence of golden sands on the coast of the Caspian Sea and mineral springs in the mountainous part opens wide opportunities for the development prospects of tourism.

Ancient Shabran city and Chiraggala monuments in the region are among the rare historical monuments of the country.

The research conducted on the "Shabran City" Historical Reserve is of exceptional importance from the point of view of the deeper study of the state of Shivanshahs, which existed for 677 years, and the history of Azerbaijan as a whole.

The discovery of the prison where Khagani Shirvani was held during excavations in the "Shabran City" Historical Reserve is one of the main places that attract the attention of tourists.

At the northern entrance of the district center, the "Shabran" and "Chiraggala" complexes, which reflect the ancient history of Shabran and have an interesting composition, were created. Chiraggala is one of the world's rare terrestrial monuments of our country from the 3rd-5th centuries. By the order of national leader Heydar Aliyev dated June 23, 2003, the "Chiraggala" Historical Architectural Reserve was declared.

According to some sources, the magnificent Gilgilchay dam, where "Chiraggala" is located, is the second largest defensive fortification in the world after the famous Great Wall of China. This barrier virtually blocks all possible routes from north to south. A tower was erected on the wall every 32.5 meters. Chiraggala is a rare pearl of art in terms of architecture.

Chiraggala is not only a historical monument but also can be an attractive place for tourists with its healing springs.

The city of Shabran, founded in the 5th century, is one of the most important historical monuments in the world. "Gulüstani - Iram" in Padar village and Shabran in Shahnazarli village are more popular. There is a local history museum in Shabran, the center of the region. Here, the place called "Goat Rock" with its beautiful view is very popular among tourists. There is a river flowing through the dense forest and steep rocks and sulfur water springs with medicinal value.

The famous Galaalti resort is also located in the Shabran region, at the foot of the Great Caucasus mountain. "Chiraggala urological sanatorium" was built around the source of the healing water of Galaalti. Those who are treated here and those who just come to relax and climb to the top of the mountain where the ruins of the ancient Chiraggala fortress are located. The view from that top to the surrounding villages and valleys is fascinating.

They preserve the traditions of carpet making, which is a traditional folk art in the region. Local carpets such as "Pirabadil", "Gollu Chichi", and "Heirati" have gained wide fame.

The Gilgilchay dam, the ruins of Shahnazarli village, and Gulustani-Iram city (Padar village) are located here.
