Gabala Shooting Club

Gabala Shooting Club is a place, which is concentrated on shooting sport and where competitions on the international level are held for shooters. The reason behind building the club was to develop a multi-purpose and world-class shooting facility in Azerbaijan that can serve both as a recreational and entertainment center and as a place for training for national and international shooters.

Gabala Shooting Club, where the tourists and professional athletes can have a rest and train shooting skills, can test eight sporting ranges, five combined ranges for stand shooting, three rifle halls, and an archery shooting pitch. There are also ranges for night shooting, paintball, and strike ball.  Gabala Shooting Club offers for visitors and professional shooters 8 sporting ranges, 5 combined shooting ranges, and so on. where they can train their shooting skills. There is a Georgian Restaurant operates in the club where the most delicious Georgian and national dishes are offered.

"Tufandag" ski resort

Nature lovers and sports lovers will enjoy  the beauty of the resort and  will benefit from extraordinary tourism opportunities. There are restaurants, cafes, bars, and recreation centers, as well as a skiing school for both children and adults in the Tufan Skiing and Winter Ski Resort. It can accommodate up to 3,000 guests at the same time. Rental and repair of ski equipment are also offered by the complex.

Skiing

Ski season is generally open from mid-December till February over a total distance  of 17 km. High-quality ski rentals are available at the Riverside Ropeway Station and the Caucasus Tufandag Hotel.  Boots, poles, and snowboard cost 25 AZN. Helmet (5 AZN) and ski suit are also available for rent. Private ski classes cost 35/50 AZN per group or children for one or two hours.

Swimming and Sport. Caucasus Sport Hotel and Caucasus Resort allow guests to enjoy 25m pools and spas for 25 manats per day. Open from 3 till 6 p.m.The Caucasus Resort is part of the complex that offers a large number of additional sports and a Bowling Alley. İn the summer, the Riverside Hotel's outdoor pool has a holiday-style camp scheduled mainly for children and families.

Gabala FK

Gabala FK is a well-known football team in Azerbaijan. It won the Cup of Azerbaijan in 2019. Tony Adams was the team manager. The stadium is on the western edge of town with the entrance on the north side. The club holds its home games in the Gabala City Stadium.

Seven beauties waterfall

Seven beauties waterfall, one of Gabala's most popular tourist destinations, is located 6 kilometers away from Vandam village. Here the waterfalls from different cliffs and form seven-storey waterfall. Only two small waterfalls are visible from below. To look at the other five waterfalls, you have to go up the mountain, which requires some physical strength. If you decided to so, then a mysterious panorama awaits there. There is also a restaurant and a tea house. The waterfall is always dark and cool because it is located in a dense forest that is not affected by sun rays.

Muchukh waterfall

Ancient Laza is located on the slopes of the Caucasus Ridge, along the Demiraparan River. The Yaylag village is known for the Laza Waterfall. It is advisable to reach the waterfall with the help of local guides with a 1.5-hour ride on a horseback, as it would be difficult for an inexperienced person to ride a horse in the area. After a three-hour ride, you can see the Muchukh waterfall, which is located 20 km away from the district center, above the village of Durcha with 54 meters height at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains. After seeing this beautiful view, all the tiredness of the road will be forgotten.

“Gabaland” Entertainment Center

Gabaland or Caucasus Park is the largest entertainment center not only in Gabala but also in the region. With a total area of 16 hectares, this huge amusement park consists of more than 40 entertainment facilities - attractions, carousels, artificial lakes with catamaran, pools, water parks, football, basketball, volleyball courts, and carting. Here visitors will attend a complex for rock climbing, constructions for extreme sports,  indoor ice fields, go rafting, and use other entertainment facilities. The center is visited by about a thousand people daily, and its services can serve up to 800 people at the same time. It is also advisable to visit the Tufandagh zipline, which will take you up to 1660m.

Durucha village

The village consists of about 120 homes, surrounded by mountains, cliffs, and forests at the foot of Shahdag. It is located 3 km away from the center of Gabala. It has a river of the same name in the village. Here you can visit mountain tops, walk along many pastures and drink cool water from the springs. The nature of the village is very rich.
